Color Pipeline-B/W excerpt

...a little sample of the Color Pipeline book, discussing Black and White very briefly. In Color Pipeline I'm tracking the paths of color through the Color Management system, using ColorThink, a program that allows you to actually map, and visualize, colors in an image.
Discussions on Black and White photography sometimes lose sight of the fact that you're still dealing with colors, just, now, colors of gray. Here I'm taking our sample color ("burple") and showing how it can get rendered using Channel Mixer, as well as Lightroom and RAW Developer.
Have a look, it's a 1MB PDF, and do please remember this material is copyrighted... contact me if you're interested in reproducing it in any way.
Oh, not to brag or nothin' but I got a really nice review:
“Ted Dillard's "Color Pipeline" is an excellent introduction (or re-introduction) to digital color management for photographers. While the same ground has been covered in other books by other authors Dillard's breakthrough is to examine the language used to discuss the subject and to bring color management down out of the high falutin' jargon-o-sphere into more comprehensible language.
Having taught and written extensively about CM, I can testify that this is no mean feat and his accomplishment is to make it far easier to grasp what color management is , what it does, and how to make it work for you.”
